On Saturday 6th May 2023, we saw celebrations across the country as
King Charles III was crowned. I was assigned by Daniel.G from The Haslemere Herald to document the events that took place in Haslemere. The day began with a parade marching through the streets of Haslemere and concluding the events of the day with celebrations at the fringe festival at Lions Green. Various local bands were in attendance, with refreshments on hand and rides for children, with entertainers performing to revellers.
